There is an active thread on the Beamdogs forum that has been commented on by Beamdog as recently as May of 2023 but they just say they are working on it. So even if you root your device, you still can't edit your saves now. However, it goes beyond even this, the user folder itself is glitched or broken in some way because save games no longer appear there and if you do manage to make a "saves" folder in it with a saved game in that. Press the tilde key again and enter any of the below cheats (type in DebugMode 0 to turn off the console, although some cheats will remain) Effect. Type DebugMode 1 without the quotations to enable the cheats. It can be done (for now) using some tricky work arounds but it's a pain. Press the tilde () key to open the console. Android has made every sub folder in the data folder inaccessible by normal means and harder to copy files to even if you can access it. For people looking to do this with Android 12 or higher it's no longer possible.
